iPrism and ePrism are can both be discovered and managed with Appliance Manager
iPrism has an HTML based administrative interface that functions as its default home page (defined as the page that comes up when specifying hostname or IP address as shown below)
ePrism does NOT have an HTML based administrative interface, instead its default home page is a user login prompt used for personal Blacklist/Whitelist management, among other things users can do to manager their email. The eprism/setup account will NOT WORK at this prompt. You must enter a username/password for an ePrism resident account, or a domain/username/password for an domain account (requires NTLM integration). eprism/setup works for Appliance Manager, which then allows creation of resident ePrism accounts, or NTLM integration.
You may install Appliance Manager from ePrism 500 directly, if you don't have the CD for example. Then you can perform all other management tasks.
