Applies To: Model 500
Additional tasks to consider once the ePrism 500 is basically installed include:
Configure Additional Email Domains, if needed.
Narrow Down the Relayers List.
Modify the Outbound List as Necessary.
|
The Outbound Tab typically identifies all the IP addresses who are allowed to send outbound Internet email through ePrism. Initially, this will be the same as the IP range identified during initial setup. If you add additional mail domains to your configuration, make sure you identify the IP addresses associated with the additional mail domains, if you are processing outbound email with ePrism. |
If using personal whitelists and blacklists, enable NTLM Authentication or, create Local ePrism User Accounts.
Finalize installation by identifying ePrism Host, and redirecting inbound/outbound mail:
Identify ePrism Hostname (DNS Server) (needed for user personal blacklists and passing self-check)
Redirecting Inbound Mail
MX Record Change (DNS Server)
or
Firewall Modification
Redirecting Outbound Mail
SMTP Connector (Mail Server)
